This non-profit organization, using advanced technology and a highly trained staff, brings the world of computing to people with disabilities including the blind and those with developmental problems. After renaming the organization we designed this logo, using the "power on" symbol as its keystone.

EmpowerTech is a non-profit organization that uses a combination of technology, patience and caring to open up the world of computing to people with disabilities. We felt it was vital that we tell its very moving story in a way that elicited the right emotion - pride, not pity.
The standing applause it received at its premier showed us we did it right.
